Done... for now

At the middle of last week we deployed our last EAR acoustic recorder on a wavy site north of Kanapali, Maui.  There was actually a nice surf break just meters from our site and the waves were making the water quite turbid. So eight recorders are redeployed and will be ready for recovery in 4-5 months. All good and quite exciting.

Aran attaching a Hobo light sensor to an EAR and it's mooring at our last sight.

We even had a day at the end for sightseeing and off-gassing out Nitrogen before out flight out. Aran, Max, Marc and Lucia (Marc's daughter and our smallest team member) went hiking at Haleakala National Park.

Thanks to all and a great field season, including Eden, Marc, Aran and Max. We look forward to returning to Maui in a few months!
