Heading West

Well it is frigid and snowy in Woods Hole. Buzzards Bay is frozen over. We have 3 feet of snow in Falmouth with more coming every week. And Max and Aran are heading out of town to recover and redeploy their acoustic soundscape recorders in Maui, Hawaii. On the way Aran was asked to give a talk at Stanford's Hopkins Marine Station. This is the second oldest marine biology lab in the US and is located on Monterey Bay Peninsula, near and in the historic towns and Monterey and Pacific Grove.
Buzzards Bay, MA frozen over. No diving going on there.

Outside the Hopkins Marine Station.

After this February 27th talk, Aran is meeting up with Max in Maui.
